Audrey nodded. "Yeah, the notes are incredibly vague. What point is there in bringing us here, really? Have we been signed up for some weird reality show? Probably not, because they'd need to get us to sign release forms and stuff first. She pointed in the direction of the river. "It's not soap, but I managed to get sort of clean by scrubbing the dirt off with some clean sand in the river. A hot shower would be best, but the river's better than nothing."

OOC: what does "FWIW" mean???? and i agree, Zelda and Link are cool, but not foe this topic, but i would guess the story they were writing was going some what with the topic

[OOC: FWIW = For What It's Worth. And, yeah. An RP about video game characters dealing with the weird island is one story, and possibly an interesting one. But the one we're working with -- one where ordinary people have to stumble through things a superpowered character could handle with ease -- is more interesting, in my opinion. Giving them a good-quality sword, and one they're skilled with, makes things too easy. And aging them down to ten when they're older in the games and everyone else is in their mid-teens or older is a tad random. Just my opinion.]

Oh, sorry... I'm just obsessed with LoZ and thought it would be cool to put "video game characters" in to make this place a little more... interesting. Was I going to make them like they are in the games, where they are really advanced? No, I was going to make them more normal... I had no idea there was a one character limit. Seriously... Sorry guys. I'll just make my own RP I guess, maybe about video game characters.

hey, there is this RP. it's Called "In a Game" maybe you'd want to join that, and making your RP is a great idea! I might join, i love videos games, especially Zelda!!!

[OOC: Didn't know you were talking to us, Cyrus, given that your character is two days behind everyone else and your character wasn't among those in the clearing (established earlier)]

BIC: I had decided, i was to go on. i wanted to meet those so called others. I closed my eyes, only to open them, and be back in the jungle part of the island. what ever had just happened was more of a dream. i couldn't even remember what really happened. but from what i did, i knew that this place is not here by accident, that this place is for the pleasure of others. I had heard voices. i saw a small clearing just beyond some bushes. i checked my back pack to be sure i had everything, i made sure my fans had box cutter tips on the end of each blade, just in case. and i walked to the clearing. i stayed behind the bush to see who was there. i then lost my balance, i fell through the bush and i looked up to see heads turn in my direction...

OOC : Cyrus, make sure you've read the previous posts. Try to catch up, and then enter the clearing. Just go through it swiftly, or if you'd like, skim through the minor details, and get up to where the man announces, and then you can meet up with us. Okay, gotta get this roleplay moving again. BIC : I looked towards the river she was pointing at. " I'll pass," I said, "I tried cleaning myself before, and there wasn't much success. I guess I'll stay like this for now. Well, trying to figure out why were here is useless, we should start--" I looked to the left, seeing a girl roll in from behind the trees. She looked dazed. I immediately stepped back, and ran near where I had hid my pack, and stayed ready in case I would have to grab something for self defense. I looked at her, and questioned, " Friend or enemy? " It sounded stupid, and she could easily lie. But nothing else came out of my mouth. I was scared, and I would have no idea what to do if she got up and attacked me with a knife. I glared at her, waiting for her next move.

Audrey pulled her knife smoothly from its sheath at her belt as the new girl entered the clearing. Amelia seemed reasonable enough, but Audrey thought she saw a weapon in the new arrival's hand. She backed up, slowly, looking around for a sign of anyone else before returning her focus to the girl.

OOC: Start over then I was already in the woods since it would take 2 long to catch up that much.
BIC: I woke up still in the tree and next to me there was a note. It read,

You are not alone. There are others.
You must meet at the heart of the island, by sunset.
There lies a gift, that will make your adventure here easy.
There is also an explanation, for we will be there, watching.
How to reach the heart? Use your mind. Follow the signs. A top view would be best. Look atop the trees, and look closely. There are markers.
The first red, the second green, the third orange, and the last purple. Atop the purple, you can see a yellow flag. Head there.

Trust no one? I looked over a big hill and sure enough I saw a valley. I watched 2 girls walk into a waterfall, so I followed. I gripped my bow in my hands as I approached them Saying, " Hi, I'm Ivy."

OOC: The only reason we thought you might want to was because you might want to list the things you found on the way, the little supplies and stuff.

BIC : I grabbed the small knife as another girl came out of the trees with a bow. I didn't want to show all of my supplies. I looked around, and made sure no one was behind me. I hovered by my stuff, and looked at the newer arrival. She said her name was Ivy.

"I'm Amelia. Are you hostile?" I asked, flickering back and forth between the two newcomers. I knew I could trust Audrey. She would have attacked me by now. I looked to her, and saw she was just as tensed.

[OOC: Oh -- I thought we were in a clearing, not near a waterfall, and figured she'd approached someone else.]

Audrey crouched and adjusted her stance, knife gripped firmly. At this point, an ally was someone who wasn't trying to attack her, so she'd have Amelia's back if needed.

OOC : I just went with it. There isn't a waterfall, just to clear it out. It's just a big clearing, surrounded by thick trees.

OOC: oh ok, the way you described it sounded like that tp me but I just re read it ;D



BIC: " N-No, I'm not but I would hurt anyone really badly if they didn't come after me." I replied. I let my hand out for her to shake.

She outstretched her hand, and I took it. "I'm Amelia," I told her, glancing at the other girl. She hadn't made any movements yet. "Do you have any idea what's going on?" I asked.

i stayed where i was, i really thought some one had seen me, i didn't know who they were. they really looked friendly, but one can not be too sure. i took out my fans but put them away, with the sharp tips, they are now weapons. i didn't want to come off as an enemy. i slowly stood up and walked from behind the trees. there were 3 or 4 girls there, they all were talking, it looked like they had met before or something. i hadn't seen any of them before in my life, or maybe i had, they all seemed familiar, i just wasn't sure. memories flashed through my head, then everything went cold and dark, i felt my head hit the dirt and i passed out...

Audrey flinched and prepared to defend herself when the other girl fell forward -- then realized she'd only fainted. Wary, but concerned, she moved over to roll the prone girl on her back, then checked her pulse and breathing.

She still kept the knife close at hand, though.

"The situation is so freaky that I've been paranoid, but as far as I can tell I'm the closest thing to an adult on an island of freaked-out kids, none of whom know any more than I do abut the situation. What the heck is the point of all this? Cryptic messages, supply packs, the implication that we might have to fight a hippo or tiger . . . it doesn't make any sense."

A loud thud echoed in the clearing. I looked to the side to see a girl who had fainted. Weird. I walked over to her, and saw Audrey checking her pulse. Had she been attacked? I immediately looked around, scanning the trees. I didn't see anything. But I bet that girl hadn't either.

"It is weird. Why us? What makes us special? I still can't believe they've been watching me for that long. It just, can't be possible. And hippos and tigers? We haven't seen one yet. Is there a part of the island we haven't discovered? Or are these animals being added while we speak? Or while we sleep? I sure don't remember those flags being there before I had woken up that morning. What could possibly be in those packs that could get us home? Why pit us against each other?" I sat on the floor, frustrated. I just wanted to go home.
