Music Terminology of the Week #9 120qrzr

Every week I will add a word or term commonly used in music. This will teach those who cannot read sheet music something new and we can all share our knowledge.

Key Signature

Music Terminology of the Week #9 199px-Key_signature.svg

-either has flats, sharps, or none at all
-you play what is in the key signature unless there is an accidental
-found at the beginning of each line of music
-can have minor and major keys
-key signatures apply throughout the entire piece of music unless noted with a change
