Music Terminology of the Week #7
Every week I will add a word or term commonly used in music. This will teach those who cannot read sheet music something new and we can all share our knowledge.
Tenuto
-play the notes longer or louder
-can signifiy articulation or dynamics
-marked by a line over a note (most common)
-also can say ten. or tenuto above the note
