Music Terminology of the Week #6
Every week I will add a word or term commonly used in music. This will teach those who cannot read sheet music something new and we can all share our knowledge.
Staccato
-play the notes short and separated with space
-signified by a dot over or under a note
-opposite of legato
-does not affect rhythms
