Teen Wolf roleplay!

[OOC: sorry about being absent, I missed like two days, haha. I'll just pick up from the day you guys are on]

I woke up, disappointed that I hadn't found anything last night. I quickly showered and got ready for my first day of school. I grabbed my backpack and walked to school. I got in and headed to administration, who gave me my schedule and the school calendar. I went to my first class and saw the girl I had met in the woods two days before. I tried to stay out of her line of sight and sat down after showing my teacher my schedule.

I looked up from my work and saw that girl from the woods. She was apparently new. Class went through and afterwards I caught her before she walked out and said, " Hey, can I talk to you in private for a minute?".

"Um, sure," I responded.

I took her into a room and said, " What is the real reason you were out in the woods?" I said.

Name: Alek Haloway
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: His hair is black, and his eyes are dark blue with a purple ring around the pupil. Average height.
Personality: On first meeting, he's very bland. He has more of a personality when you get to know him. In a crowd, he only speaks when he has something to say, and that's not very often. He thinks about situations and tends to examine where he is. He can be rude without meaning to.
Werewolf, Hunter, or Human: Human
Other: He moved to the town a year ago after the death of his younger brother.

"Uhh, just wanted to take a few pictures of nature," I said to her.

" I know thats not the case." I said. "Look, if you go "look at nature" again, be careful. There are illeagal hunters setting traps out there." Hopefully she didn't suspect anything when I said hunters.

"Hunters? What are they hunting for?" I asked, hoping she would somehow confirm my supernatural suspicions.

" Uhh.. Wolves." I bluttered out. Make it a lie. " They are really bad here. So many of them are everywhere." I said. " Overpopulated"

One disadvantage of Tara's busy schedule was that it became far too easy to fall behind on homework. She took advantage of a free period to work on her assignments in the library. Better to get it out of the way during school hours -- she had work again tonight, and then she'd need to see about getting the window repaired.

I left the room quickly hoping to leave her without anymore clues and went to the library. I saw Tara and walked to her table. " Hey, Tara. I have something to tell you.

Glancing up from her notes, Tara smiled. "Hey, Ari. What's going on?"

" That girl in the woods, I just have a feeling se wasn't out there for "photography". She was looking for something, but what?" I said. " And I met up with her in the hall, I told her to be careful for illegal hunters."

Tara nodded. "It's pretty clear those guys didn't know what they were doing -- they might even shoot normal humans if they're not careful. The sooner the cops take them in, the safer everyone will be."

"But the thing is..." I paused. " She asked what they were hunting for"

A shrug. "They're hunters. They've got traps out. Might as well say they're trapping raccoons for fur or going after deer or something common like that."

" And I said for wo-o" I stuttered. "Wolves"

A pause. "You do realize that would only increase suspicion, right? I mean, spreading rumors of wolves in the local woods would lead to normal hunters thinking that people or livestock might be at risk. They'd get paranoid and start shooting at anything that twitched."

" I know, I just didn't know what to say. She asked like she wanted to figure something out."

"When people get paranoid, real wolves -- wolves that have never done anything to harm humans -- die. It's not just out of self-interest that I think this is a very bad thing. Wolves have only recently made it off the endangered species list, and far too many have taken this to mean open season on the poor creatures. If she's suspicious of something, she has no reason to think a random student would know what's going on, and by singling her out, you've made her suspicious of you."

" I have, I am just going to avoid her from now on." I said. What have I done?

"You'd better. It would have gone easier if you'd convinced her you'd just been out for a walk at night on Sunday, and had been warned by the police about the stupidly dangerous trappers in the area so she'd know there was a perfectly mundane reason not to do that again."

"Wolves?" I said. She ran off and left me standing there. I wasn't completely convinced. She seemed suspicious; as if she was hiding something. I decided to check out the woods anyways. I hadn't seen any wolves while I was out, nor heard of any wolf over population.
