Re: Special Year Ender Contest
That's amazing c: I think that's a great reward for playing games. That's another thing I like about the CBZ/Badges; you get great prizes.

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
Yup! Buht, then again, I think some of the prizes I think were kinda lame.

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
The first few are kind of bleh, but once you get higher, the prizes are much better. Specially the moves [:

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
True! I agree with you. I'm really looking forward to getting the rooms

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
I'm barely on the silver badges I think the moves are better than getting inventory items, since some of them aren't really all that. I can't wait to get the rooms(:

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
Yep -- the rooms only come when you complete a gold badge, and then only for some of them. I still don't have my library; there's still two badges I haven't completed yet. Maybe that should be my goal for 2012 in BABV.

It makes sense, really, that the badge prizes improve as you go along. I just wish that the pantry thing didn't just provide alternate access to the credit pantry I got a while back. I've got a lot of rare food, and would like somewhere to store it.

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
The moves are the best prizes, imo.
Another improvement, [which goes with the badges/achievements] is that you can see how many points you earned when you play a game. For example, if I play baseball, when I'm done playing, I can see that I earned +5 points for playing. Which is good, since with that, you can calculate how many points you need to get up one percent, and then you can calculate how many points you'd need in total to raise your level [:

Another thing-- They got rid of older clothing from
Pawlettes, and didn't give as much clothes out this year.
Which was a real disappointment, because I expect
more from them. But they gave out more Furry Friends this year.

When the Blizzard Bears arrived in June, they brought with them one of my favorite new additions to the game -- Flavor Sorter!

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
Yeah, most of the new bears brought new games, and they were pretty fun. Like the Blizzard Bears brought Flavor Sorter. One of my favorite games Colorful Canvas was released when the Colorful [don't know the name of the bears :S] bears came out, so that was pretty cool too. [:

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
One thing I achieved this year, though it's not a thing in Bearville general so much, is that I snagged both the Peacock Hat and Red Panda Ears in trade. Not to mention I earned all but two of my badges, and those two I'm on gold for . . . odds are good for completing them all in 2012, even if it's slow going.

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
The badges do take a while to complete, but if you really put effort into it, you'll have it done in no time. (: There's great rewards once you do complete them.

I love all the bears they came up with! They are adorable[: especially the bakeshop bears

I'm not sure. o.o I'm barely on the silver badges hahaa. Like Molly said, there's rooms as prizes on the 'gold' level. I wonder what happens when you finish all of them..?

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
The odd thing with badges for me, is whenever I finish a game, it'll say like "+10 points", but it actually only increases about 1 point more.. :s At this rate, it'll take me forever to finish them! But I'm sure it'll be worth it(:

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
The ratio of game points to percentage points changes with each level; once you get to the gold, they barely budge, which is why it's taking me a while for the last bit.

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
I don't think there's any special prize for completing all the badges, but you do get a prize for completing each one individually.

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
Yeah! But you get a lot of points when you enter bears. I recently entered a couple and my badges went up a lot
bearvilleisawesome- Helpful Bear
Re: Special Year Ender Contest
Oh yes, that's one of the big ways to earn that specific badge. When I entered my newest bear, I went up almost a whole level. (: It's taking me forever to get the Art badge though..

Re: Special Year Ender Contest
What I did to complete my arts badge was to start Pawsome Painting, get to the blank canvas, then exit. Doing this over and over lets you build up points quickly.

Thanks for the tip, Molly. (: I've done that with some of my other games for different badges, but I haven't really played in a while. Btw, do you know what the extra rooms you get for the gold badges are?
