Flight of the Fairies

I coughed. " Thanks, I'm -cough- Ivy.", I said in a weak voice. I had pain all over. "That must've been hail that hit me just now. They really hurt!" I laughed. " I'm collecting green rose petals for a dress." I looked around and my petal was gone! " But the thing is, I have to go into the, the Dark Forest to get it. You know that forest just north of here. It has Dark fairies there. The missuse magic by making storms and such." I said.

I announced that the festival was going well then I flew out and found Aura. "Shall we head off to Blossom Boulevard?"

"Dark Forest? Isn't that between Blossom Boulevard and Ivy Way?" I asked.

"We could hit it on the way. Whatcha think, Amber?"

A concerned look crossed my face. "I can't let you go there Princess!" I said. "Its too dangerous! The dark fairies will notice you and will try to hurt you!" I pulled out my wand and magicked up a seeing portal. It showed the dark forest, and the dark fairies that lived there.

" No, Princess it is too dangerous there. They could hurt you! I will just have to go alone." I said.

"Good luck Ivy!" I said, touching her on the shoulder. "Don't make eye contact!"

" Unless, we hide that you're the princess. Like switching that dress with a less fancy one and hiding your crown?" I said. What could I say, I was desperate for help on my journey. " You problably wouldn't want to see them anyway.

"Or..." I began, "We could disguise myself as a dark fairy. I know a few things about dark fairies. They're different from us."

I looked at Amber. "Their skin is a purple color. No problem - this town is in an abundance of fruit, hence its name. We'll darken me up with blackberry juice. We can borrow some clothes in town that dank and dark looking."

I looked at Ivy. "I may not get to explore often, but I've received a lot of schooling in its place, and I know my geography. Through the Dark Forest is the quickest way to our destination, anyway. And those dark fairies aren't going to let three of us normal folk into their area unless they believe that we're practicing dark fairies.

((Dark fairies are normal fairies that practice dark magic. As a result, their appearance changes as the magic engulfs them into its practices. They're revered as evil, and to start practicing dark magic makes you a traitor. Once you're a dark fairy, you can't go back.))

And they won't believe that three normal fairies up and decided to go to the Dark Forest to become dark fairies. So one of us has to be the mentor of the other two. Might as well be me, since they'll study the two normal fairies more closely."

I looked at Ivy. Who looked At Me. We both shrugged. "Good plan!" I said. I grabbed a hand full of berries. "I beg your pardon, your majesty!" I took one arm and rubbed the fruit onto her skin. It turned purple. I smiled. "See this is why your the princess!" I said, removing the hairband i wore which showed i was a messenger fairy and put a disappearance enchantment on my messenger bag, so nobody could see that we were smuggling messages.

I smiled, and watched as she used the same disappearance enchantment on my belongings.

"I hope we all know enough about dark fairies to get past them!" I shivered slighty.

"It'll be fine. I just need the green rose petal to use for dye." I said smiling. I was still really nervous as we started flying through the forest. One of the fairies flew relly fast in front of me and stopped. " You don't think your getting any further do you? Not past me anyways." I got really scared. What would she do? All of a sudden magic started coming from her hands. * blackout *

Other:River is the new fairy in the woods coming from Central Park in New York. She was born with the special powers of light (even fire and lighting) and loves fashion. She worked with designers all over New York and has come to start her own future as a 15 y/o fairy .

I looked over at Ivy who was out cold. I looked at Aura, expectantly. 'Say something!' I thought.

I sighed. We are in trouble now! These fairies won't let us past. I'll never deliver this message! I'll lose my job! I'll live on the forest floor with only a few slugs for company! I'm not optimistic!!! I WANNA GO HOOOOOOME!!!!!

I looked at the time. It's been 4 hours! I been working all day and finished all my paperwork and duties within 4 hours. That's a record I thought. I decided to find my daughter to give her the talk about becoming Queen ...

I bumped into Amber and she whined. "I was coming too and lost my path. But I left a trail of fairy dust!" I said pointing the direction. "That way? Well come on!!!!!!!" She said and we flew to the fairy dust and followed the path.

I flew over to the girls/guy talking.
I said:
"Guys help me, someone is trying to take over our town!"

I woke up in a chair in the dress shop. " Ivy? Your dress is ready " she smiled at the desk. I grabbed the dress and asked, " Is there a changing room? " and she pointed towards the end of the store. My dress was a beautiful silk with green leaves embroidering it and it was just above my knees. It was beautiful. I just had to go thank Amber, but first I had to go to the pond and water the plants.

We all went back to the town and searched in the Fairy Mall. "Lily where did you find that trail?" Amber said, looking straight at me. "My father used to take me here, and it was beautiful, until someone turned it into Dark Forest..." I said. "Oh." She replied heading to a fairy clothing shop.

I fluttered around and began to search. Nothing. Nowhere. All I could hear were fluttering of fairies all around me and crowded places. This was madness. I couldn't possibly find her anywhere, if this crowd just stands here. I went to my announcement speaker that I used for emergencies when birds or other dangerous animals were lurking in this area. This was truly an emergency, I believed. I went to the top of the tower and opened the wooden speaker for all the fairies to hear.

"Attention! Attention! Everyone quiet down. YES! Hush Hush!"

The crowd excitement died down to silence.

"Has anyone seen Aura? Anyone? Please speak now, its an emergency!"
