Pet Shop Roleplay

Near the back of the store, the owner carried in a new cage. It was covered in a blanket, in an attempt to keep the new animal from being confused while it was carried around. Once it was in place, the blanket was removed.

Inside the cage is a long climbing branch, food and water dishes hanging from the side, a solid exercise wheel, and a cozy little cave where the new arrival is hiding.

Some time after the owner leaves, the new arrival cautiously pokes her head out.

"Hello?"

" Hello there, " I welcomed the new stranger. It was a weird animal, with huge bulging eyes. But kind of cute, " I'm Happy, welcome to the Pet Shop, " I smiled to the strange creature.

"Hi!" I scream, over to the creature, almost as cute as me. "I'm Harppy! What's your name?!"

Ada remains perfectly still for a moment before rapidly climbing up her branch to the side of the cage. She hangs from the wire, staring out at the strange animals. "Ada. Do you know where my brothers and sisters are?"

" Sorry Kiddo, there are none of them here, " I said, tired of introducing the idea of a pet shop to almost every new entry, " Your in a pet shop. People can buy and keep you as a pet. This store is your temporary home, and none of your family is here. Were your family until someone adopts you, " I said to the huge eyed creature named Ada.

Ada blinked her wide eyes. "But where are they? We've never been apart before. Mother told us to look out for each other, and if they're gone --" she shivered.

" Calm down, " I said to her, " their all safe with each other. Don't worry about them, look after yourself, " I reassured.

"But if I don't know where they are, how can I know that they're safe?"

She twitches, jumps off from the side of the cage, and glides the short distance to where her food and water are. She takes a sip of water, grabs a berry, then scurries back to the shelter to burrow under her bedding. It's the closest she can get to feeling safe and warm without them.

Personality: She loves teasing animals that are older than herself.
She is very hyper and can go a little over board.

Animal : Dog ; Pomeranian
Age : 7 months
Personality : Spunky, cute, and fun to play around with. Maxy is obedient to orders and is someone that you can count on. Although, he is very clumsy and forgetful somtimes. He also loves to sleep/nap.
Other : Maxie has big brown eyes and his fur is fluffy and white. He is not new nor old to the pet shop.

I smile warmly at Ada and say, "Hey, calm down. Everything is going to be alright, and I'm sure your family is safe. But for now, lets just relax." I extend a white fluffy paw to her and introduce myself. "I'm Maxy!" (:

I awoke and blinked my eyes. "Wow! I fell right asleep then!" I said, my voice sounding croaky. "What happened whilst I was napping?"

Krystal woke up then, staring at the new pets that had suddenly arrived.
She asked herself.. "Was I asleep that long?" She swam to the front of her
tank and studied the new pets... they were all talking to each other.
Krystal had a "deer in the head lights" look. She thought.. " I was asleep.. for
monthes.. H-How c-can this b-be." Nobody looked or bothered looking to see
that she was awake. She swam to her food bowl that had gotten rotten and
dusty. Maybe she shouldn't eat right now.. Disgusted at the food, she swam into her
little pirate ship. She didn't feel like talking right now.. she was too shocked. "What did
I miss? What happened?" She thought. Well... atleast she had 5 monthes rest? Krystals'
stomache gurgled. She was STARVING. Sleeping really makes you hungry, apperently.

She wanted to say hi.. or atleast speak up a little. But she couldn't. Krystal had a shy side,
other then her hyper and energetic side. The little Fish was actually TIRED. AFTER A 5 MONTH NAP! She closed her eyes... "Tomorrow... I will" She was asleep.
