Backpacks or Totes?

Once school starts what are you going to use to carry all your school stuff to and from school?

All throughout middle school I used a tote bag but last year I kind of got tired of always having to carry everything on one shoulder (which is also bad for your shoulders). This year I'm going to use a backpack, because I will be in high school now which means more homework, ect.

Back Pack for sure because in elementary I had a tote and my shoulder really hurt after that year!

Backpacks. I used to always carry a tote, but I have a neck problem, which hurt my shoulders AND my neck that year (I wore a tote). T_T

I use a tote bag. It's more of a giant black leather purse shaped like a tote. I actually haven't used a backpack for school in 4 years. I haven't had to carry textbooks around for about 5 years now so my bag really isn't that heavy to hurt my shoulder.

i use a tote too but this year i may not need it

i would use a tote, but i have to carry a laptop everyday and walk home too so i don't want to accidentally drop it on the sidewalk

Backpack!! I can use both hands freely

Backpacks. I've used them throughout school since like kindergarten

i like shoulder back packs, i wish i could have a roller back pack though!

i like totes, better, less heavier and I think they look cute with my outfit hehe

I use a totebag. I thought is as more easy to carry and easier to fit in my locker. I can normally fit all my books in it (since I don't put my binder in the bag)

This year i'm gonna have to use backpacks since my school won't use lockers. -.-

I don't really like totes, sure they look cute, but I need lots of space for my stuff, and there's always times when I'm carrying a binder or two, it would be too much to carry a tote. But for gym clothes and stuff, totes are better, but I just take a plastic bag

I once had a tote for school, my shoulders wouldn't resist to all the books.
But In a way, when I go out with my friends, I use totes, they look awesome

i might start using a tote around school, ciz i have a locker! yay! but i'll switch to a backpack when i go home, i have to walk

I use messenger bags, I guess they are most like totes so I selected that

I choose backpack out of the two choices. I did purchase a tote bag one year because we weren't allowed to carry a backpack all through school. You had to place them in your lockers. However, it was a complete waste of money and I no longer carry a tote bag. I'm a backpack person since I have a lot to carry. I've been carrying the same backpack for five to four years and it has done be real wonders, seeing as everyone fits in that backpack. Excellent poll and I would indeed choose backpack, no matter how stylish and easy tote bags can be to carry around with. [=
