Badges better than achievements?

Just curious. Would or rather have an achievement system, where you got badges for completing certain tasks, or badges, in which we earn by doing the same monotonous tasks for badge points.

Obvious as to what my stance is.

Hmmm . . . both. Given that I already went through the monotonous task part, I wouldn't want my work to be undone by the system changing.

Both. We could have an achievement system. Everyone would have hard to complete them

Badges take a while.

That's what I think. And badges, you more or less will end up playing the same game, or group of games, to get them.

On babv? Yes I would choose both to make it more fun

Yea. Achievements can be like " Score blah on whichever game " Or, trade with a citizen for 5 minutes. Complete a quest, etc. Creative.

Yeah, a combination would work best -- reaching for specific goals for some, doing mindless repetitive tasks for others.

Though it might be difficult for some people. They should keep the badges along with adding this. People who might be working hard or have had worked hard would be crushed. :x

I think achievements would be fun. This other online game I've played when you so something, like things Alecia said, you get a badge or something. Well in this case, it'd be called an achievement so it wouldn't cause confusion.

Badges takes a very long time to do. I think achievements would be good to have too :]

Yes, and they'd be in a separate section of your CBZ.

*nodnod* An 'Achievements' section would be nice. Easy enough to set up. And probably easier than the ones for World of Warcraft.

But it would be cool. We could have cool achievements and rewards with each we unlock or a certain number we unlock. Like, after unlocking 5, you get a gift, then 10,15, so on.

Yeah, that would be a good reward system. Then you wouldn't have to get any specific achievement to get rewards.

Yeah. It would be pretty fun unlocking each and every one.

And you could have your achievement count number until your CBZ views.

It would be cool. And there can be a lot of different achievements and a guide that tells you how to unlock them. It would be really cool.
