BABV Roleplay - Ted's Enigma

Ted the Tailor was doing the usual around the boutique - cleaning, returning clothes to their designated racks, marking clearances...when he stumbled around a strange, glowing aura hidden beneath a mangled mess of sweaters. Curiously, he examined it...and noticed the letters "BVO" faintly beaming out. Thinking it was a clue to strange and mysterious treasures, he brought this pulsing enigma outside to show Pawlette....


IMPROV IT. No real direction. Be creative!
Please chose a BABV character. Such as Pawlette, Bearemy, Champ, etc. If we run out of people, I'll allow a few people to make some up.
As for the disposition and age...you don't have to mold your character to fit exactly as they appear in BABV.

You may enter the roleplay at any time (as there is nothing in the rules against this), provided that there are no more than ten people on the list. If you're entering late, please read up on the previous posts to understand the plot, and introduce your character in a clever manner.

Other: She is the owner of Pawlette Confur and is friends with Bearemy. She takes care of safety first surveys and designs clothes.

Ted approached Pawlette, with his hands tightly wrapped against the object.

"Erm, Pawlette," he croaked out nervously, "I've...I've found something. Something astounding. I think...it's a clue, of some sort. Will you, eh, help me figure out what it is?"

Ted extended his arms and carefully peeled his fingers away, revealing the light they enclosed.

"It says 'B-V'O' on it...what do you suppose that means? Should we go to Bearville Outfitters, perhaps, and investigate?"

Champ overheard what Ted had said, and hurried right over before Pawlette's response.

"Hey, guys!" he shouted. "What's that?" He looked at the shiny thing that Ted had. "I don't know what that is, but I want in on this mystery!" He looked toward Pawlette for her response.

The light enclosed with B.V.O on it. It was astounding and amazing looking. It was interesting.

"Sure thing Ted, anything for you!" said Pawlette. "We can walk over there right now if you want!"

"Alright, Pawlette!" Ted exclaimed. He grabbed her hand and they hurried off to Bearville Outfitters to look for clues.

((I assume everyone else wanted to come along? xD Lol.))

The four headed out together.

Upon their arrival, they began searching the store. After an hour, they found nothing.

"Argh...I guess it doesn't mean anything," he said with disappoint. He looked up in distraught. But, wait! One of the ceiling lights was glowing incredibly more brightly than the others.

"Hey, guys! Look at that! What do you suppose that that means?"

Champ and Bearemy hurried along with Pawlette and Ted. Ted spotted a light that was really bright!

Ted told us to come over there and Pawlette glanced at the bright ceiling light. It was a ring inside of the ceiling light! Strange! It also had B.V.O on it... The ring must have made the ceiling light glow more than it should.. But who would have left a ring inside a light bulb?

"Perhaps it was AbbieBright," supposed Ted. "She's known to make jewelry in her craft shop. I'd guess that we'll find out next clue there!"

Ted held the door open so everyone could file out.

Ted suggested to give Abbiebright a visit. So Pawlette and the gang went to the Bearywood mall to find clues about this strange mystery of B.V.O.

AbbieBright stood up and greeted us and Pawlette took the lightbulb from Ted. She set it on AbbieBright's desk and asked, "Have you seen this before? We found this at Bearville Outfitters. Do you have any clue what this is?"

AbbieBright replied ...

AbbieBright smiled, revealing a set of perfect teeth, framed by dimples. Her eyes lit up.

"No, not the ring...but, I do recognize the insignia on it. See this shape here? I have the same mark on one of my sketchbooks. Here, take it."

Abbie handed a book to Ted, and the group left to go to the Ice Cream Parlor to get treats while they examined it.

Disposition: Wise and helpful. Intelligent and friendly. A good friend.
Other: Cheetah is the head libearian in the libeary. He used to be an explorer but now he just helps out in the place of knowledge.

And so began another day in the Libeary! I placed my trusty explorer hat on my head and smiled at myself in the mirror. I wonder what adventures I'll have today!

I stood in my usual spot, if you'll excuse the pun, and awaited opening times. It was incredibly quiet. So i started to hum a tune. I wonder how the other furry friends are doing... Last time. I saw them was At pawlettes pawty! Maxine should be around later, maybe she'll give us a day off!

After everyone had ordered their ice cream, they sat down to example the book. Abbie had such wonderful drawings! However, one picture in particular stood out. It was a picture of the Libeary, covered in glitter. It seemed to shine!

With all the items still in hand, they finisihed their treat, and headed off to the Libeary!
