You go to town square and click on the yellow bear, and you click enter bear certificate and stuff It's just like a regular certificate if you bought a bear with a award with it.

An "open certificate", like we're selling here on the forum, is a very special kind of birth certificate. Most of the time, an open certificate comes from animals that are not currently in Bearville. Since they are not available online, when you enter the animal ID and key code for their certificate, it lets you choose any animal in the list of choices on Bearville. So basically, you can choose any animal that has every been released in Bearville.

You won't find an option for "open code or certificate", it only shows up when you enter the animal ID and key code for those specific furry friends.
