Do you read The Tale of Despereaux

It's a great book. This is the non-animated one that I read:

My grandson read this book and really enjoyed it. He read a portion to me and it was so sweetly written. A lovely story!

Nope, I have never read this book. I am more of a romance/suspense type of person. Kind of like the books Margaret Peterson Haddix writes. I am not into books like this. I hope it is really good though. =]
