I need more help on computer terms

I made a post saying I need help with computer terms. JanetBear answered my question and I to colin to lock it but I need somemore help so I'm making another thread.

I went to the ANSI thingy in my computer and it said I have to reboot my computer. So after I did that my computer said I had to delete 1 kilobyte of memory from my computer. I don't know how much memory I should delete because I don't know how many bytes is in a kilobyte.
Help me someone!

A kilobyte is exactly equal to 1,024 bytes.




I thought you might want to know some of the other ones:

A gigabyte is equal to 1,073,741,832 bytes
A megabyte is equal to 1,048,576 bytes
