On photofiltre why does the outline overlap my chachter?

On photofiltre why does the outline overlap my chachter? I changed the width here is the pic

Did you select cover the inside or outside? *It says something like that* Or the glow may be too big.

there should be a box you can click for it to go outside... just click that

When you add an outline, you must always check off: "Outside".
If You don't do that, it will show up on the inside of your character
