Sherlock Holmes : Game of Shadows Empty Sherlock Holmes : Game of Shadows

The 2nd movie of Sherlock Holmes just arrived in movie theaters! The movie was action packed, clever, and just amazing. Never doubt Sherlock! I loved loved this movie <3 When I was watching it though, I got so confused by how they spoke. The characters spoke with accents which made it really hard to understand and hear, and they spoke more graceful than they do in modern day. The plot for me was kind of shaky, I didn't quite get it. I got the concept though and I thought it was still good

It was . . . interesting, in its way. They didn't really have a heavy accent -- they only spoke as upper-class brits, rather than cockney slang or anything. I honestly didn't notice a major difference between the language used there and modern language, but then I watch a few different shows from England.

Several of the plot points hinged on a basic knowledge of the Holmes mythos; for those in the know, the mere mention of Moran or Moriarity clicked in their brain and allowed several associations to be made.

It wasn't heavy accent, but I don't really watch a lot of British movies so it was new to me. I only watched the Holmes movies, time for me to do some research c:

Yeah; it's easier once you have the ear for it. If you want more of Sherlock, I reccomend the BBC miniseries that came out a year and a half ago; it's a modernization, but sticks closer to the character of the original Doyle stories in ways.
