planning your own party

do you think that it's bad for a 10 year-old to have to plan their own party, because no one seems to want to help?

Turning ten is a big day, when I was ten, I had my own birthday party.

I can't remember my 10th Birthday party!!! It was only 7 years ago too I'm pretty sure my parents just held a BBQ for me

well, what i mean is that i have been planning my own parties since my 11th birthday party, and my parents expect me to come up with everything on my own. they never really talk to me about it, and it's already a week away. but they have already started getting stuff for my sister's party which is in october.

No I dont think its bad, I actually think its a good thing because you can have everything done the way you want it done, and not have to worry about "aww I wanted this, and oh I didn't want that" because since you're planning your own party you get to do what you want to do(:

No, it's not bad to plan your own party. I've always planned my parties. Ever since I was like, 7. All my parents gave me were budgets and friends of theirs to invite.

My birthday parties were kinda like get-togethers. We would call all of our friends and family, including my Mom's, Dad's, Sister's, and mine. I always used to plan our parties. Food, revenue, and like games and entertainment and stuff.

that is a hard one. I think that they won't necessarily know how to deal with budgets and if you planned a party at a place they might not listen to a kid just because they might not have permission to book a party. I think that they should say what they want and then let the parents take care of it

I remember my tenth, it was the only time my parents got me a bouncy house lol.
