Soul Surfer

Soul Surfer, is based on a true story of Bethany Hamilton. One day Bethany went surfing on the north shore of, Kauai, when she was attacked by a tiger shark. Bethany lost her left arm, and despite all of it, still wanted to surf. This movie is about courage, having faith, over coming, and what it takes to be a true champion. Bethany Hamilton is played by Anna Sophia Robb. Also featured in this movie is Denis Quaid, Carrie Underwood, and Helen Hunt. I reccomend this movie to everyone! It is so great(:

Book was good, haven't seen the movie yet.

i rented the movie and i watched it and there was a lot of parts i almost cried. it was sooo informational. when i went to hawaii i almost drowned in the ocean while snorkeling because my snorkel got clogged and i have never swam in the ocean again. i know that this isn't even close to what happened to her but her story makes me want to give the ocean another try
