" Eleven year-old Akeelah Anderson's life is not easy: her father is dead, her mom ignores her, her brother runs with the local gangbangers. This movie is really good. It's a must watch, imo.

I thought it was a sweet movie. Her childhood was not good but she rises from that. I watched part of it, but it was still really really good

This was a good movie I recommend it to everyone.

I love this movie, and Keke Palmer is amazingly talented!
