Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is the 2nd part of the last Harry Potter movie. The Harry Potter movies were inspired by the brilliant series by J.K. Rowling.
I first read Harry Potter and the Scorcerer's Stone in 2nd grade and LOVED it. I have so far read the series 4 times and am about to go for 5.
The movie was epic. It had adventure/suspence/comedy/romance/fluff. It was amazing. There were several funny parts as well as sad ones.
What was your favorite part in the movie? Please spoiler it.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
I have to say the movie was very good. It was amazing and probably the darkest of all the movies I must say. I found Voldemort kind of crazy. He was out of place, he didn't seem kind of scary at all. He seemed vulnerable. The hug to Draco? It was very awkward. I had many favorite parts including the part with Neville.
Neville: You and whose army?!?!? *Epic face*
I loved it but some parts were disappointing. Harry didn't lecture Voldemort saying that he made the mistake again. That Harry was protecting his friends just like his mum protected Harry. It seemed like Harry was actually murderous although Voldemort deserved it. In the book to me, he was murderous but he was actually protecting his friends and there was an explanation. I felt like there was needed Harry to talk to Riddle, that he made the same mistake again is how I feel.
Also I feel that Dumbldore's past should have also been in the film, but there was probably not enough time. I hope its at least in the deleted scenes or something. I loved Snape's memories the best. I cried so much. When Snape held Lily, I went balling my eyes out. I want to watch this movie again.

It was EPIC.
Sure, lots of things were left out. I totally agree, but I loved the way they changed it.
And I'm pretty sure JK Rowling approved of it all, and maybe she changed it herself?
I mean they're only 17, after all, they had to act it. If the movie was really serious and all, I dunno. It would still be EPIC, but I loved the change tbh.
I don't really care about them

I absolutely hated it. I am a big Harry Potter fan, and I know they change things, I get mad, but I can stand them. But this time, they went way to far. I want to start with Hermione. She is a super smart know-it-all right? And she would NEVER hesitate. I hated that part where they made her say "I can't do it." There have been a couple of articles recently about how the Warner Bros. "big guys" [i'm not sure who] said he wouldn't allow women to have any main roles. That is why they make Hermione seem more attractive and stupider for the last movie. I felt like she was so laid back, wasn't in the moment, and had no idea what was going on. I felt like she should have been fierce and determined. But she was not the usual Hermione for this movie. Second of all, Voldemort was WAY too friendly. The real Voldemort would have NEVER hugged ANYONE. So I found it really unrealistic that Voldemort hugged Draco. One more reason, Fred's death was so insignificant. They never even mentioned Percy came back to the family. It was supposed to be such a sad moment when Fred died. Right after he had reconciled with Percy, but they never even mentioned anything. You just see everyone dead.
IMO, the producers/directors should have read the books before trying to make the movie. They included what they wanted for monetary purposes, but it is not the Harry Potter that I fell in love with.
I'm sorry if you don't agree with my opinions but every time I read something about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 I feel the need to vent.

I totally agree with you at most points! But you have to remeber that they are just tying to get an audience. Most people haven't read the books so they need to make it appealing to those who want that hermione or maybe want the twist of seeing Percy. Plus they're tying up loose ends. Like Percy. If they didn't include him people would be like What ahppened to Percy. You see. I don't agree with it but that's how they want it. They want more people to watch.

My favorite part was when Neville was shouting out to Voldemart's army saying that they couldn't get him blah blah blah. And then when the spell broke and they tried to go across to where Neville was, Neville's face was HILARIOUS!

Oy, as much as I want to read the comments in this thread, I can't, some of them contain spoilers and I haven't read the book no movie yet.

I understand, they can't please everyone. I wish they would try to please the book fans though.sandyverybeary3 wrote:I totally agree with you at most points!
