Credit cards on Bearville?

I think that if they were to have it, they might be crazy. This idea is kind of silly to me, but what do you think?

when I was younger around 7 or 8... I ordered a trundle bed on Target with my moms credit card

Not just wrong ideas though, but won't they get confused? They're just eight, some maybe six, you can't really give them such complicated features

I really don't think it would work. They don't even have it set up for us to deposit all our bear bills -- the first logical step would be to allow that, and set up a debit account (separate from our savings accounts) to work from.

It's not a bad idea, but it might just give kids the wrong idea. They'll think of it as free money, and never pay it back, and those habits might carry on with them. Plus, I don't think many parents would like it ^^;;

I think its not a great idea reason is parents could get mad at their children spending stuff without telling them and also, what can we get on babv, if we had one.

A credit card on there would act just like one in real life.
You buy stuff, don't pay for it now, and it adds up into debt.

Agreed, though, I do not find a need for this on Bearville. It's not too hard to earn some Bearbills. Just play a minigame!

Well, like everyones already said, it would be a bad influence on little kids.
There would actually be no point of it really. But if you would actually want it, we could have like a validation thing. Like a little quiz maybe to make sure your old enough. But it would be unfair to little kids.

Even then, we already have our bearbills in our inventory too. They could get a credit card, however, but the amount of bearbills on the credit card can't be more than the actual amount of bearbills you have, and you can only purchase things with the credit card. If you don't pay back the bearbills by this date, it's taken out of your account.

But then again, there still is no point of them. Good idea, though. Not necessarily "unfair", or a bad influence, but you just have to do something to force them to pay it back.

I don't think it is a very good idea to introduce debt to kids at such a young age.

I agree, Karen. These kids are way too young. They wouldn't be able to learn the proper uses and value of money.
