i would say ipod because you can get calling app and texting app for free which you don't have to pay for

like the newest iPod touch or iPhone 4? Well, iPod touch is cheaper, and can do almost the same things as a iPhone 4. But a iPhone 4 you can text and call and stuff like that, so you wouldn't have to carry a ipod and a cellphone in your pockets.
So maybe a iPhone... but I'm happy with my own phone and ipod touch (4th gen.) Ipod4 or Iphone4? Icon_razz

Agreed lol. Unless you do a contract it might be cheaper.

And I'd go with the iPhone 4, the sound (the speaker) for some reason is better on that also, it's louder while on the iPod 4 it's quieter. The camera is way better for the iPhone 4, I don't think on the iPod 4 you can take HDR images.

For the iPod 4, yes there are apps to do that, however it requires WiFi! Not always the best thing then, let's say you're in an emergency and you've got no WiFi to call anyone. D: Plus, the internet phone isn't always reliable.
