A Traveler's Worst Nightmare

I have just arrived to Europe alone to a fabulous vacation. After getting through all the airport traffic I needed to rest. Just when I thought I could, my suitcase was gone! Only one of them which is a relief! But I needed more clothes and quick! I went to the market place near my hotel. I walked there and found a cute shirt and pretty pants.

"You want this outfit? You must pay ma'am." said the man dressed in yellow. He was oddly rude.

"Yeah I have money, just wait a second." I said.

I reached for my wallet. It wasn't there. But it was just there a minute ago, I swear.

"Someone stole my wallet!"

I reached in my bag. My keys to the house which was like 500 million miles away, my toothbrush, comb, and a space was empty. That space was supposed to be my wallet. I looked around and seeing if anyone was guilty. Why was I pointing fingers? I mean what if the person who took it like ran away or walked off?

I picked up the bracelet, which sparkled brightly. I examined it, it was obviously cheap plastic. I put it back down and turned. I saw the most bizarre thing. A man's hand was in a girl's coat pocket. Strange. I saw his hand slowly come out, and in his hand her wallet! I saw him walk, nonchalantly, as if he hadn't done anything. I saw the girl dig into her pocket and discover the missing wallet. She looked around, suspiciously.

I ran to her, saying, " I saw the man who took your wallet, he's gone in that direction, " I finished, pointing to the left. I motioned her to follow as I walked ahead, chasing the thief.
