Natural Disasters ?

Have you ever been in a natural disaster ?

We get hurricanes here, but only small ones. The worst was a hurricane in like 2003 or so. It was a category 2 I think so not like super bad or anything.
But I've never been in an earthquake or tornado or anything. We can't get them here. Earthquakes because I'm not on the edge of a tectonic plate, and tornadoes because there's too much moisture in the air here.

In the month of April and the beginning of May there's tornados every night where I live.

The only disaster I've been through is a sandstorm, but I wouldn't really count that as a disaster or anything .

I just want some disaster and adventure in my life. Some sorrow.
The only disaster I've ever faced (not natural) was 9/11. We were going to Brooklyn, like 50 miles away or something :L

I've been in a few hurricanes, but that's it.

I've been in like 4 earthquakes because where I live there is a lot of earthquakes. Almost a tsunami from Japan and a warning of a tornadoe.

I've never been in any major natural disasters, but my brother and I got hit by a residual lightning strike.
