the little princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Little princess is a 1904 children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett,
I like this book because it talks about a girl (sarah crewe character )
which was from Africa and then she moved to New York and was left at a boarding school. Her father was at a war fighting but apparently they said he died.. He didnt! But then they started treating sarah like a servant. It was so rude! But then she stopped
and wanted to escape because policemen were coming, she hid in the a man's home and then saw her father had lost his mind and was living with a man who offered to help him.. Sarah saw her dad didnt know who she was and was really sad she cried then it seems that her cries made her father refresh his mind. You know what happened? When they found that her father was alive. they fired the school mistress for treating children so badly and hired a new, nicer one! When she was about to leave she gave her favorite doll to another servant girl who no one liked until sarah came, She became best friends with her but had to say goodbye.. They were like sisters..
To find out more please read the book or watch the film thank you for reading
