Double Identity by Margaret Peterson Haddix
I have read quite a lot of books today so I have to say this is the last one I will post for today.
Do you just enjoy reading suspenseful books by Margaret Peterson Haddix, then why don’t you check out her book Double Identity. As freaky as the cover looks, this book is just unbelievable.
“As Bethany approaches her thirteenth birthday, her parents act more oddly than usual. Her mother cries constantly, and her father barely lets Bethany out of his sight. Then one morning he hustles the entire family into the car, drives across several state lines -- and leaves Bethany with an aunt she never knew existed. Bethany has no idea what's going on. She's worried her mom and dad are running from some kind of trouble, but she can't find out because they won't tell her where they are going.
Bethany's only clue is a few words she overheard her father tell her aunt: "She doesn't know anything about Elizabeth." But Aunt Myrlie won't tell Bethany who Elizabeth is, and she won't explain why people in her small town react to Bethany as if they've seen a ghost. The mystery intensifies when Bethany gets a package from her father containing four different birth certificates from four different states, with four different last names -- and thousands of dollars in cash. And when a strange man shows up asking questions, Bethany realizes she's not the only one who's desperate to unravel the secrets of her past.”
Margaret Peterson Haddix has been known for her twisting plots and spine-tingling novels, but you will never read a book like this one. It is filled with creepiness and temptation that you just have to turn the page. By the way, if you read the title with a little bit of dramatic effect you find yourself started at what your own voice can do your feelings. =]

It seriously is quite awesome. I couldn't help but finishing it all so quickly. Each page was just so thrilling that you would be surprised how many times you would be frustrated if you put it down. I really liked the ending although it was a tad sad. (Aw, it rhymed!) =]

Yes, yes she is. I am so happy that one of my teachers recommended this author to me or else I don't believe I might have ever been able to enjoy great books like the ones Margaret Peterson Haddix has published. I am thinking of getting my book signed by her soon. I really can't wait to meet her! =]

No problem. I am just happy to help you pick out books because I know how hard it can be sometimes to choose a book to read. =]
