Wow, Did you like it Karen?
I liked the book for several reasons! I'm a huge US history fan and this first book focused a lot on Benjamin Franklin. I also liked the intrigue between the different branches of the family.
Like Roro said - you really need to read this book!

This will just be general reply to everyone, as Roro is finalizing Contest 44 Winners and codes!
Anyhoo...
A very big thanks to the recent members who kudo'd the review. Yay! Glad you liked it!!
I'm also looking forward to our membears who will go out and grab the book to read. I am beary excited about what you think of the book and hopefully, we'll be able to discuss things here!
Also...
Yep, 39 Clue is a mystery adventure book that touches a lot on American History, well History in general (you'll understand this in books to come). This is actually how Scholastic wanted the book to be. Something that will capture the attention and imagination of kids, while educating them about forefathers (and mothers).
I hope to get to know your impressions of Ben Franklin, Amy and Dan, and everyone else! Happy reading everyone!

Awesome review RoRo. I never read this series. Sadly they don't have them at my school library. So, I'll buy it when I have some other time. This book sounds amazing. I love books that have mysteries.

I LOVE this series, I am reading it right now:) I am on book 7
1. What does power mean to you? What could make you the most powerful person in the world? Power means rulling basically. What could make me the most powerful person is being a famous singer or actor:D
2. If you could be related to one famous person, who would it be? Taylor Swift
3. One million dollars or a clue - what would you pick? The clue
4. Who do you think the Madrigals are, why should the Cahill be wary of them?
I think the madrigals are another branch that is like secret agents( like the lucian branch) I think they are worried because they have more power then all of the other branches.
5. Share us something you know about Ben Franklin!
I know that he dicovered bifocals(glasses) he also signed the declaration of Independence in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania
