Yes that is what I did. Play around with it and try them out. There are many file conversion sites. How Do I Convert AVI to GIF? 143839

Yes that is the name of the site I used, what it says at the top. Like I said before, there are many sites that can do this for you. Mine was converting from mov to gif though so you may need to search specifically for avi to gif.
