I am not a treky but this movie makes me watch old ones too. I saw a star trek TV show, but I did not know the story at all. It was sad for me that I could not get into it.

When I see the movie, many people said 'spock!' during the paticular shot. I had no idea why they said like this, but after that, I fully understand. That was old spock!!

The director is so awesome. He is (was) not a treky, but he made an amazing movie like this!

He made huge hits like LOST, Frindge, MI:III. I need to pay attention what JJ Abrams would do next!

That's one of the best things about this movie, you don't have to have been a previous Star Trek fan to love it
