Bearville Guide Official Contest Guidelines and Policies

BGF Contests and Games are only held in (3) venues:

1. Build-A-Bearville
2. Bearville Guide (Board contest and games)
3. Twitter

For contests or games held in Build-A-Bearville, we will require a registration here on BGF. There are no registration fees.

However, there may be random games and contests where registration is not required.

A meeting place (in Bearville) and a time will be announced. The player must come atleast 10 minutes before the scheduled time for final briefing. A contest will always start on time. We will not wait for a player before we start. Latecomers will automatically be eliminated. In the event that a contest starts late, we will announce it and make the necessary adjustments.


For board contest and games, each contest will run for a certain period of time, depending on the type of contest or game.

1. Prizes will be announced before the contest starts.
2. Mechanics will be outlined.
3. The winner will be announced in the thread.
4. Prizes must be claimed within 24 hours or it will be forfeited and will be carried over to the next game.
5. Prizes are limited to virtual items and Build-A-Bearville Birth Certificate codes, receipt codes, and game card codes, badges, avatars, siggys and Paw Prints in Bearville Guide.
6. Prizes will be given via PM, email, Bearmail or trade.
7. Officers CANNOT join the contests, unless otherwise authorized by the forum owner.
8. The officers' decision, or sometimes the forum owner's-when needed, is always final.
