How?

I usually save my allowance that my parents give, I don't use it and then when I want something I buy it with my allowance.

I normally save my allowence, but if i don't have enough, my parent's lend me money and either i pay them back, or I try to pay them back and my parents tell me I've been good and they're so proud of me or i deserve it, and they don't make me pay them back. Other than that, their moto is, "You want it, you buy it! you need it, we buy it!" I don't have a job, but if I were old enough, trust me I would, so i can't get money that way, so I really earn money by doing work around the house.

My parents will get me clothes when it's a good price and other fun stuff if it's a good price. But everything that would be for my enjoyment I would have to buy. They only buy full price stuff for my birthday

From my job I usually buy my own stuff. If I am a few dollars short, sometimes my parents would throw in a dollar or two if they are shopping with me.

my parents dont believe in allowance so i normally wait till i get birthday/easter/chirstmas money. Or sometimes I get money from my parents or my sister when she babysits
