bid/post question

I don't understand the auction house. If you bid, but you don't win, do you still lose those posts or do you only lose the posts if you win? i know you lose posts if you win, but what if you bid, but don't win? And can you bid multipul times?

If you lose, you still lose your posts, I am not sure about repeating though

so what if i bid 200 then someone out bids me so i bid 400. Do I lose 600 posts then?

i always thought that you only lost posts if you won the auction.

So lets say I bid 150
You bid 200
then someone else bids 250, then its the end of the big we all lose posts
So basically, its when you bid in the auction, you lose posts.

I dont get where you got the 350 posts from?
In an auction, whatever amount of posts you bid you lose
Lets say in total you bid 800 posts you lose all of those posts.

You would only loose the highest amount that you bid not what other people bid. So even if you bid on an auction 6 times.. you will only loose the highest amount of bids for example

You: 50
Me: 100
You: 150
Me: 200
You: 250
Me: 300


Even though i won you still lose 250bids since that was your last and highest bid
