Rules and list of players for the 5th Qualifying Round

The Fifth Qualifying Round will be held on Tuesday, December 10 via the Chat Box during these times:

8pm EST
7pm Central
6pm Mountain
5pm Pacific


Please be reminded of the following rules:

a.Come 10 minutes before the call time. Those who arrive once
the countdown has finished (the Quiz Master will announce this)
are considered late and will no longer be entitled to join the Qualifying Round.

b. Once the qualifying round starts, no one is allowed to talk except
for the Quiz Master and the contestants. You will be kicked if you don't
follow the rules, repeated offenses means you will be banned from the
duration of the match.

c. You are only allowed to give your answer ONCE.


d. For the BYSTANDERS: if you're not part of the official list of players
please don't answer. Repeated offenses will mean you're getting
banned from the duration of the match as well.

e. If the Quiz Master has not awarded a point to a question yet, that means
he is tallying the answers. Please refrain from talking during this time.

f.Quiz Master's decision is final. If you were not awarded a point, carefully
review the rules again. Maybe you missed something? Misspelled word?
Incorrect answer perhaps? Take note of the spacing, spelling and capitalizations, you can never be too sure!

g. Once in a while an official tallying of the scores will be announced to
ensure that the players keep track of their scores.

h. A 15 minute break will take place after the first half of the match. At this point
everyone is free to talk and have fun.

i. Once it is noticed that there is a clear winner, the Quiz Master need not
continue on with the Round, if it stands that there is no one who can match
up to his/her points.

j. The winner of each qualifying round will automatically make it to the Semi-Finals!


Trivia Rules:

1. Qualifying rounds will be a 25-item quiz. The one who gets the most answers from the 25 questions wins.

2. The first who answers the quizmaster's question correctly earns a point.

3. Spelling. capitalization and spacing are important. You must be able to type the correct spelling and spacing.

For example:
Question: Who is the front page model of Build-A-Bearville?
Answer: ChloeRocks
Answers like Chloe, Chloe Rocks, Chloe R., ChloRocks, Rocks, etc will not be accepted.

4. In case of a tie, the Quiz Master will proceed to the tie-breaker round consisting of 5 questions. The first player to get 3 answers correct will be the winner

Oh... Remeber, capilization counts. So i think that's why you didn't make it. See the last post that Rachel made on the 5th Qualifying Round. It will show you what you have missed if you didn't make it to the list.
