Pastels or crayons?

They're similar. With the difference of oil and wax as holding agents.

I prefer pastels.
They're easier to blend. But harder to use.

I like both, though i haven;t used pastels in quite a while. But you're right, pastels can be harder to use.

I love crayons the best. They are way easier to use. The only crayons I'll use are Crayola though.

I like using crayons. Pastels are too complicated for me. I like Crayola too, Karen. I used to get the huge pack with the inbuilt sharpener when I was younger

RoseArt crayons aren't half bad. The colors are less solid-looking, but they spread smoothly.

I always like Crayola. I usually bought RoseArt colored pencils.

Crayola is like the best company for crayons, in my opinion.
Crayons give it a childish and cute look, well to me at least

Pastels. I hate about pastels is that they're oily and it smudges really easily, also, it can make your clothes and stuff dirty really easily D:

i have an addiction to pastels, not now so much but before...omg everything i would do would be oil pastels

crayons they fun to peel and put on wax paper from shaving them and look really cool

All fun tools are messy. Like paints.

Pastels get really messy for me. Same reason I don't like markers Dx

Pastels for when I draw... crayons for filling in some little colors but definitely pastels cause I get to use it for smudge effect :p
