Music Terminology of the Week #4 120qrzr

Every week I will add a word or term commonly used in music. This will teach those who cannot read sheet music something new and we can all share our knowledge.

Grace Note

-feels like a quick pick up note
-comes before the "principal" note
-in smaller print than normal music
-has a slash through the note, but not always

Wow, I've never seen one of those before! It looks cool, and also somewhat weird. LOL Music Terminology of the Week #4 Icon_razz

LOL I think they're cool. They're tricky and fun to play. Music Terminology of the Week #4 465488
