Has anyone read the book Once. ?

I am getting it - our school is giving away free books Once. Icon_razz And I was wondering - to the people who may of read it, is it any good? Once. 143839

I just read Chapter 1 - and now I definitely would like to read this and other books by Mr. Gleitzman. His style has a beautiful simplicity to it yet still paints very clear images.

I've read similar books like,
The Book Theif
Number The Stars ( I think )
Diary of Anne Frank.

They were good books.

We are reading Number The Stars in class (but for me its my 2nd time, i read it last year.). Number the Stars is sad, but I have read Once. I think.

I've never read that series. It looks interesting by the cover, but you
can never judge a book
